CNC Animal Ambassadors - American Toad

Our female American Toad came to Chattanooga Nature Center on March 1, 1998 as an adult. The Tennessee Aquarium donated her to be an exhibit and educational animal. She is a wonderful amphibian ambassador who rides in her carrying case in the CNC van to star in traveling classroom programs in the Chattanooga Area and beyond.

She eats crickets, worms, and various other insects 2 days a week in the spring and summer months.
